What a beautiful way to say, "I Love You" this Valentine's Day-and all month long-than a weekend at the award winning Candlelite Inn.
Upon arrival, enjoy our Indulgence Welcome Basket filled with Valentine treats and a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. Bedtime sparkling cider and sweetheart goodies wait in your room for that late night romance. Wake up the next morning to tantalizing aromas coming from the Inn's kitchen. Have your morning coffee in front of a warm and inviting fire in our turn of the century parlor. A three course breakfast-with dessert-is served in our cozy Sun Room which overlooks the pond. Explore the Lake Sunapee Region, or ski the slopes of Mt. Sunapee and Pat's Peak or try cross-country skiing, snow shoeing or tubing. Then back to the Inn for hot chocolate and Valentine sweets. Later that evening, enjoy a delectable dinner at one of our fine area restaurants-reservations are required. (dinner is not included in the package) As you gently slip back into reality, memories will always last of the romantic stay at the Candlelite Inn. $115 above room rate.

Winter Sports in the

Enjoy skiing at Mt. Sunapee, Newbury and Pats Peak, Henniker. Try cross country at Norsk in Sunapee or tubing & night skiing at Pats Peak. There is snowmobiling, snow shoeing or ice skating in the area. All your winter fun comes with a 3-course breakfast, which includes dessert, each morning, light hors d'oeuvres from 3-7 PM. Hot beverages and snacks throughout the night. We will have stay & ski packages available.

Sweep the "love of your life" off their feet with a romantic getaway as you start the New Year at the Candlelite Inn. We have an affordable New Year's Eve planned with bedtime sparkling cider, chocolate covered strawberries, flowers and an in room gift. Your package also includes a holiday breakfast with dessert each morning, afternoon into the evening warm beverage with holiday sweets. Enjoy downhill skiing, or tubing at one of the nearby ski areas. There's cross country and ice skating nearby. Do some shopping or antiquing; or take a leisurely walk on the back roads of Bradford located in the Lake Sunapee Region. 2 nights are required for this package. $99 above room rate.

 Inn to Inn Snowshoe Adventure

There's never been a better opportunity to get out and experience a stunning New Hampshire winter than with the Inn To Inn Snow Shoe Getaway being offered by the Rosewood Country Inn and The Candlelite Inn, both situated in the picturesque Lake Sunapee Region. This package will be offered for two weekends only:
Winter adventurers can get out and enjoy a guided snow shoe trek by day while being pampered and well fed at these two charming inns by night. The journey begins at the Rosewood Country Inn on Friday evening, where guests will have a brief orientation followed by a hearty four-course dinner. On Saturday morning, a three-course "farm to fork" breakfast will be served before participants head out on their four-mile journey. If there is no snow, guests will hike instead. A trail lunch will be provided as well.
The seasoned guide leads the way along peaceful forest trails as the innkeepers shuttle luggage to The Candlelite Inn. The trek is about four miles long and expected to take approximately four hours. It is suitable to both beginners who are used to a moderate level of activity as well as experienced snow shoers. Upon arrival at The Candlelite Inn, guests can relax in their rooms and enjoy a gracious fireside dinner to end their day. On Sunday morning, a delightful three-course breakfast is served and then afterwards participants can relax and enjoy a quiet morning before departure — or add some nights to their stay.
The Inn to Inn Snow Shoe Getaway includes the following:
Accommodations for two nights (one night at the Rosewood Country Inn and one night at The Candlelite Inn);
 Hearty country breakfast each morning (two); Fireside dinner each evening (two); Guided snow shoe trek; Trailside lunch on Saturday; Luggage transfer between the two inns This package is priced at $299 per person, double occupancy, is exclusive of taxes, Snow shoe rental is available for an additional $20 per person. Additional nights can be booked at either inn from $129 per night plus tax depending upon the room or suite selected.
