The Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast The Candlelite Inn, located in beautiful Bradford, New Hampshire, was built in 1897 by Charles Gillis as a guest home. It has entertained generations of New Hampshire visitors throughout the years and was voted the 2001 Inn of the Year by the readers of Pamela Lanier's travel guide, and was placed in the Congressional Record. This fine Victorian structure shows graceful detail, such as the gazebo porch that is perfect for sipping lemonade on a lazy summer day and the parlor that can warm a winter afternoon with its warm cozy fire. The parlor invites guests to sit with a hot cup of apple cider and relax with a good book while the snow falls.

The Blue Room This delightful room has a taste of country. A Windsor queen bed, muslin bunny, wooden craft toys all add to the country charm. Rates Change Seasonally The Suite Decorated in a colonial setting with access to the gazebo porch, this spacious first-floor room radiates a warm welcome to the weary traveler. The Peach Room A black iron canopy bed, an etched mirrored armoire and a relaxing seating area set the room off exquisitely. A large in-room bath awaits for those "late night soakings." Rates & Amenities Accommodations: We have four different stylized rooms, each with queen bed and private bath and two suites with a queen bed, and private bath. Some of our rooms can accommodate an extra person with an additional charge of $35 per night. Room rates are subject to an 8% New Hampshire meals and rooms tax. Reservations are recommended in advance. Some weekends require a 3-night minimum. Payment: To guarantee your reservations, full payment is required for reservations of 1 night, and a 50% deposit is required for 2 or more nights for each room reserved. A deposit will be taken at the time reservations are made. If reserving by check, we must receive your deposit within 7 days from the date of placing your reservations. We accept all major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits will be refunded on all reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to your arrival, minus a $25 administrative fee, per room. Less than 14 days notice, your deposit will be forfeited.There are no refunds for arrivals later or for an early departure. No Shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation. Restrictions: We are unable to meet the needs of children under 12. No pets. We are a non smoking Inn. Breakfast: Full gourmet breakfast - down to dessert. Breakfast is served between 8:00-9:30 am. Check In/Out:  Check in time is between 3 pm and 8 pm unless prior arrangements have been made. Check out is by 11 am.

Directions From the Boston Area:  Take I-93 North to Concord and take I-89 North to Exit 9 (Warner-Bradford, Rte 103).  Take Rte 103 West to Rte 114 (the first red light).   Make a right on Rte 114, we are exactly 3/10 of a mile on the left. From Connecticut and other Points South:  Take I-91 North to Exit 8 in Vermont.   Take Rte 12 into Claremont then follow signs to Rte 11/103.  Leaving Newport, Rte 11/103 splits, follow Rte 103.  Take Rte 103 into Bradford and the second traffic light is Rte 114.  Make a left on Rte 114 and we are exactly 3/10 of a mile on the left.
