Recreation abounds in every season with lake activities taking center stage each summer. Dinner cruises on Lake Sunapee, water skiing, canoeing and swimming at area state beaches. A brisk hike through well marked nature trails or up Mt. Kearsarge to the look-out tower will fill an afternoon nicely. Mountain and road biking, downhill and cross country skiing, tennis and championship golf courses - we have everything to do or nothing to do - if that's your pleasure. For a taste of life in a simpler time and place, take a step back and visit Bradford, the Gateway to the Lake Sunapee Region
